Chioma Ugwudi-Nwigwe is an ex-banker with over 9 years of banking experience. During her banking career, she encountered lots of women who were forced into business as a means of giving themselves financial empowerment as they were either victims or survivors of domestic violence.

Over the last four years, she has personally counselled over 200 women who have challenges in this area and has facebook page (Marriage Amebo) where she educates and creates awareness on domestic abuse. Her facebook page currently influences over 800 persons and reaches over 3,000 persons. These have influenced her decision to start a blog Marriage amebo to continue with the awareness creation on domestic abuse and to challenge women to live their lives to the fullest irrespective of their status.

Chioma is also an Educator, a President of a civil society and manages a publishing outfit (DSAbooks Planet) in Lagos state
